The Book will tell the story of the implementation of the Nunavut Agreement, the largest scale modern treaty in Canadian history. Focussing on public finance –as funds are the lifeblood of any government or organization--this collection will track the evolving relationship between the parties to the Nunavut Agreement. It will explain how and why Nunavut Tunngavik Inc. sued the federal government for treaty violations, and it will probe federal attempts to improve its capacity after the out of court settlement that resulted in $255.5 million in compensation from the Government of Canada.
